  2. Looks like you have a couple good books to read in your future. I love fantasy but I can be picky about it as well. Heard good things about Robin Hobb but haven't read any of her books yet. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

    1. I thought I'd want to read thrillers too since it's October, hence why I picked up Harbour. Oh well!

  7. I was a bit surprised by Alligiant ending but thought it made some sense. The middle book had seem disjointed to me.
I am curious about the Mistborn series.. I keep peeking at it thinking I might start that series. I'll watch for your thoughts. :-) Happy Reading.

    1. I found the ending slowly revealed itself in Allegiant, at least to me, so I wasn't too surprised when I got there.

I've had The Final Empire sitting on my shelf since last Christmas, waiting to be in the right mood to really appreciate it, so I'm really excited to get started!

      Thanks for stopping by! :)

  8. It's a genre I haven't tried yet!

I have read The Other Hand- one of those books that really makes you think about it after you've finished.

    1. You really should give fantasy a try! I did when I was younger and I love it, though I don't read it often.

Yes, The Other Hand was pretty thought provoking. I'm packaging it up and sending it to my mum to read, as she loves a book that makes her think about the way things really are.

  11. I've seen Robin Hobb books mentioned and recommended all around, so enjoy that one. I read Divergent but didn't continue on past it. I do like an occasional fantasy for a fun read. Enjoy your week.

    1. I've heard a lot of good about Robin Hobb's work too, so am looking forward to reading some. The Divergent trilogy wasn't my favourite either I must admit - I think I just continued reading to see how it ended. Though, in my opinion, it wasn't awful by any means.

      Thanks for stopping by! :)
